Some More Photoshop
I've been experimenting with some photoshop images of Enda Kenny and the Joker from the batman movies and experimenting with the opacity of layers to merge the faces together.

More Digital Work
I've been reworking the Wrong Direction cd cover as I wasn't happy with the first one I had done and I'm much more pleased with how this one turned out. It's definitely not perfect by any means but I'm really happy with the results as I hadn't a clue how to use photoshop before I started.

40 Banks Photograph Series
These photos, inspired by Ed Ruschas '26 Gasoline Stations', were taken in Clonmel, Limerick, Cahir, Fermoy, Tipp Town, Mitchelstown, Cashel and Cork City. Each bank represents a year that our country's debt has been spread over.
Most Wanted Financial Men
As my project has progressed, I've become interested with money and how it is so interlinked with the current problems in our country. I started to look at some of the people who were responsible for Ireland's financial meltdown - heads of the Irish banks and the financial regulator from 2007. Having been inspired by Andy Warhols screenprints, I decided to create a series of prints of the most wanted financial men in Ireland through the medium of etching. I decided to do etchings of Michael Fingleton (Irish Nationwide), Sean Fitzpatrick (Anglo Irish Bank), Eugene Sheehy (Allied Irish Bank), Brian Goggin (Bank of Ireland), David Drumm (Anglo Irish Bank) and Patrick Neary (former financial regulator).
Last semester I learned how to create etchings using hardground and this semester I learned the technique of applying sugarlift and bitumen to the plates.
I decided to use the sugarlift as it created a positive mark but I also experimented with the bitumen which created a negative mark. I used found imagery of these men from the internet, edited them on photoshop, added a bitmap and then screened the sugarlift and bitumen onto the plates.

These are my plates after they'd been etched in the acid bath.
These are a sample of the prints I got from the plates.
I feel the sugarlift technique worked far better than using the bitumen so I plan on using more sugarlift on my remaining plates.
