I began looking at the idea of alsheimers' disease running through families, so I decided to draw 3 portraits of myself, my dad, and my granny and have them eroded in a similar way as alzheimers would do to memories. I did this using a combination of masking fluid and masking tape. Statistics show that women are twice as likely to be as affected by alzheimers than men, hence why my and my granny's portraits are more eroded than my dad's.
