Damaged Film Experiments

To try and show the aggressive nature of alzheimers, I decided to rephotograph old family photos on a film camera ( nikon 35mm).

I then took the film and damaged it before developing it. I scratched it, left it in bleach, in nail varnish remover, in lemon juice, in whiskey, in tea and then I left some undamaged so I could learn the process of developing photos in the darkroom correctly.

Each had damaging agent had a different effect on the film which came across well in the final developed photos.

This was my first time working with film photography and developing photos in the darkroom and I really enjoyed it and hope to continue it in the next semester.
