The first 8 pictures are of the sugarlift etching plates I made by silkscreening sugarlift mix onto aluminium.
The final picture is a print I pulled from one of the plates, however I don't feel the prints are as successful as the plates themselves. The interesting, reflective quality of the plate is lost.
I have decided to leave the plates themselves as the finished pieces of work and may write or draw on them in the future. As aluminium is a metal known to cause alzheimers disease, I think its fitting to treat the aluminium plates as finished pieces in their own right.
